Claudia Gray’s Evernight, and Evernight 2: Stargazer feature a young girl named Bianca who is forced to attend

the super-creepy Evernight Academy because her parents are teachers there. The academy has dark secrets that even Bianca doesn’t realize. This Romeo-and-Juliet style series is fast-paced and interesting even when there’s no contact between the lovers, Lucas and Bianca. The tension rackets up throughout both novels but the one thing that bothered me is that the consequences of one of Bianca’s secrets go unresolved at the end of Stargazer.

I recommend this with the hope that book 3, whenever it arrives, will resolve the lingering questions.
